Mission Strong is an effort of the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, a broad group of community and civic leaders, business organizations, military support groups, elected officials across all political affiliations, and private citizens. What is their Mission? It is “to protect our local military assets and the nation’s defense.” Why? America’s armed forces deliver a huge economic benefit to our community. Southern Arizona’s five military assets provide nearly 62,000 direct and indirect jobs and pump $5.4 billion into our economy every year.
